They used to,once upon a time.

Sparrows chirp in the broad-daylight
Happy with their quick flight and perky presence
They used to,once upon a time;
I see not them anymore,
Except the bird cages of the zoo.

The rainy showers carried the petrichor
The amphibians croaked a roar,
They used to,once upon a time;
I see not them anymore,
Except in the glass cages of aquariums.

The green castle
Every nook and corner you would find,
They used to ,once upon a time;
I see not them anymore
Except on the terrace as gardens.

The chickens,cows and farm animals
Brought in the bread for the family,
They used to,once upon a time;
I see not them anymore,
Except for the extinct villages.
