Souless Soul-my very first poetic venture

Far and beyond from everybody else
She merely existed like any other chair
Amidst her so-called family,
She was lonely as ever
Dwelling too much in the dark
And repellent to the warm sun-rays of hope
Not that she wanted to
But gods of fate decided to.

Far and beyond from everybody else
She merely existed like any other chair
And so her day began with exhaustion
Her prince charming, she once dreamt about
Remained and perished in her dream alone
So vulnerable, like a slave she was treated
Not that she wanted to
But for his happiness she decided to.

Yet again the nights fury ruled her day
day by day, till her last she knew
for her kids & her belief for goodness
she strived to make things look good
knowing that she was numb to his beatings
she succumbed realizing that numbness,
it stretched even to little happy rain-drops
not that she wanted to
but in the castle of fake she was forced to.

As always tears would be her only console
braving up a smile with bleeding lips
or a neat walk with a limping pain
never hurt her more than breaking of her trust
that little heart which could protect him
was strangled at every breath she took
not that it was difficult to
she was strong enough to hold on to.

The numbness grew as the dusk arrived
her corpse shivered to survive another night
he would be here ,she waited as the clock striked 12
her mind active, her body merely there
the doorbell called out,she ran to see him safe
but the cops told her he was a corpse now
not that she wanted to
but gods of fate decided to.

At the dusk of her life, she looks back
contently smiling at her journey
that belonged to her soul
though all alone in a small hut
she could now breathe, but memories never hid
she loved her close ones
not that she was supposed to
but that is what her heart wanted to.
